Confidence

The most important aspect of training is the development of a healthy level of confidence that will ensure the application of all new and old basketball skill sets. Learning is imperative, with confidence application becomes second nature.

Basketball IQ

Using training to simulate real basketball scenarios is a great way to increase basketball IQ. Through time and score drills and monitored instructed play.

Repetitions

Love The Game

With excitement comes development. ‘Tough kids who love the game.’ Through toughness and the love of the game basketball can take you many places and develop aspects of a player’s character that can be used on and off the court. Training with a high level of enthusiasm and discipline helps harbor the players love of the game.

Testimonials

“Sterling has been instrumental in my maturation both on and off of the court. He helped build my confidence and develop a mindset that allowed me to surpass expectations and perform in high pressure situations. Sterling’s training will not only help you as a basketball player but will give you the skills you need to succeed in any environment.”

Tommy McCarthy – Harvard University / Rice University

“Sterling works with his players to find the weaknesses in their game and eventually turns them into strengths. Sterlings greatest gift to me is his relationship building. He is able to make a workout environment with high level competition as well as a family atmosphere. He cares about all his players, he’s interested in what goes on in their everyday life and is always finding ways to help. The true tell of the character of Sterling Jones is after one of his workouts, you’ll find yourself still sitting in the gym laughing and chopping it up with him for hours. I am truly blessed to have met sterling, and he has contributed to me becoming a more confident basketball player, all while being a great friend and mentor.”

Brandon Cyrus – DePaul / UCSB

“Sterling Jones has transformed how I approach adversity in basketball and in life. When I first met him, he didn’t see me for the player or person I was, but rather saw me for the player or person I could become. Sterling knew where I wanted to be and understood how to get me there. He cultivated a killer mentality and unshakable confidence within me. Sterling is one of the main reasons I went from playing JV my sophomore year to now playing college basketball.”

Ryan Nagle – Carnegie Mellon University

“Confidence is built through continuous, quality reps before the season starts. Sterling has helped me a ton with the mental aspect of my game through great drills that directly transferred to in game performance.”

Kimo Ferrari – Brown University

“I think your biggest contribution with mentality in my time working is just developing new ways to see the game but also a new more focused way to attack workouts and anything else basketball related. Everything we do is so focused and concise and has so much attention to detail that you can see not only with myself but with others that it carries over.. that’s a mentality and focus that I still carry with me. It’s something that young hoopers and just hoopers in general need. To shift their mentality towards more focus and attentiveness in how they approach the game and I think you of all people have that at a high level.”
